El Dorado student Rebecca Freeman spent this summer as an intern for the Orange County Register newspaper. Two articles where she shared a byline with another reporter or contributed to an article can be found HERE and HERE. Recently, she wrote an article for the paper which was featured on the front page of the Travel section. It can be found HERE. Newspaper teacher Dan Dupont says of Rebecca, “any of you that know Rebecca won’t be surprised by her success; she is an absolutely phenomenal young woman”. Congratulations Rebecca!

Yearbooks will be distributed on Tuesday, June 3rd at 2:15 p.m. for seniors and after school for everyone else. Have you bought one yet? There are only 50 yearbooks left and they will go fast. Last year was a sellout and we anticipate that happening again. The price will increase to $110.00 for everyone beginning June 1st. Don’t wait or you may be disappointed. You MUST have I.D. to pick up your book and you may not pick up someone else’s book or your book if you have a debt.
