Welcome to the 2007-08 school year.  Our enrollment is up again.  We have over 2600 students and have accepted approximately 90 students through the District’s Choice program.  We are now the 2^nd largest high school in the PYLUSD.  Due to this growth and the need for a couple of replacements, we have 10 new teachers who have joined the El Dorado faculty.  We will also be hiring 2 part time clerks in attendance and activities.

This year our teachers will be focusing on increasing collaboration with each other in order to improve student achievement.  The majority of our teachers are now using the Aeries ABI system so that you can use the internet to check on your student’s progress.  If you have any questions or concerns I encourage you to call or e-mail teachers directly.
