**PROM TICKETS SALES START – Are you ready to rock? Prom is here and ticket sales start on Monday. Bring your money. You don’t want to miss this Prom! Tickets are $122.00 with ASB and $125.00 without. Freshmen and sophomores, you can go if an El Dorado junior or a senior asks you. Ms. Cecil
**FRENCH CLUB – Come to the last French Club meeting on Monday. We will be playing a French trivia game so be sure to stop by. Mrs. Lovering
LACROSSE – Interested in being a member of the first EDHS Lacrosse team? There will be a MANDATORY parents meeting for both men and women next Thursday night, May 15th at 7:00 p.m. in the theater. If you have any questions please see Ms. Roberts in P-16. Ms. Roberts
CONGRATULATIONS – El Dorado Visual Arts students were recently recognized for their outstanding artwork at the Yorba Linda Women’s Club High School Art Show and Competition. Winning awards were: for grades 9th and 10th – Arum Lee, 1st place in painting. Tony Sherg – 3rd place in painting. Josephine Lazaro – Honorable Mention – painting. Sarah Elder – 1st place – drawing. Bree Buchanan – Honorable Mention – drawing. For grades 11th and 12th – Kevin Lee, Honorable Mention – drawing. Tina Chen – 1st place – photography. Lindsay Burtt – 2nd place – photography. TIRELESS EFFORT – Thank you to Mr. Cyrus and Ms. Carvelli for their tireless dedication to El Dorado and its students. Coach Cyrus works tirelessly on the court and with his Language Arts student, and Ms. Carvelli devotes much time to ROP in addition to her other duties as counselor. Thank you for all you do! WITH HOPE FOUNDATION WALK – On May 18th from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. With Hope will sponsor a walk to raise money for suicide prevention in memory of Amber Craig who attended El Dorado.
