ALL STUDENTS

**PHYSICS BOAT RACES – Who had the fastest boat in the Physics Boat Races? The fastest boat in the boat races was built by Mary Krygier, Ali Avina and Ingmar Sterling. Mr. Picou paddled it across the pool in just 17.8 seconds! Mr. Picou also paddled the second fastest boat, which was built by Kevin Yedor and Megan McGee. It was a very successful year with 69% of the boats making it across! Mr. Kanne
**COMMUNITY SERVICE – Interested in volunteering at an elementary school this summer? Numerous opportunities are currently available throughout our school district. Please see Mr. Gullotti in the attendance office to sign-up. The deadline to apply is Friday, June 13th. Mr. Gullotti
**LITERARY JOURNALS ARE HERE – If you pre-ordered a literary journal you may pick yours up all this week at lunch in Room P-29. You must have your pink ticket to claim you book. Books will be distributed this week only.

**PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY TICKETS – Perris Auto Speedway will honor all the tickets that were passed out at school dated May 24th for Saturday, June 7th. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. Qualifying starts at 6:00 p.m. and racing starts at 7:00 p.m. Come and watch Cody Williams slide the 850 horse power sprint car through the corner, getting up to 115 mph on the straight away and 80 to 90 mph in the turns. SPECIAL FRIENDS CLUB – We will have our last meeting of the year TODAY during lunch. Come down to Room 408 to get your “pass” to the end of the year celebration. It will be held at Yorba Linda Bowl on Friday, June 6th from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. Mrs. Boese
COMMUNITY SERVICE – Sierra Vista Elementary is looking for volunteers to help at their school carnival on Saturday, June 7th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Please contact Julie Garcia at 996-1961, ext. 7402 for details. Mr. Gullotti
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS WHO ARE ON AN INDEPENDENT STUDY PE CONTRACT – Grades are due to the Counseling Office by TODAY. Failure to do so may result in a fail grade being posted for 2nd semester. Seniors who do not turn in an Independent Study PE grade will jeopardize their graduation status. Mrs. Rodieck
YEARBOOKS - Yearbooks will be distributed TOMORROW at 2:15 p.m. for seniors and after school for everyone else. Have you bought one yet? There are only 50 books left and they will go fast. Last year was a sellout and we anticipate that happening again. The price is $110.00. Don’t wait or you may be disappointed. You MUST have I.D. to pick up your book and you may not pick up someone else’s book or your book if you have a debt. Mrs. Brick

FINAL TRANSCRIPTS – It’s time to start turning in your request for your final transcripts. Bring a stamped addressed envelope with your name on the inside flap to the Counseling Office. Please remember that the postage has changed to 42 cents. The next few weeks are going to be busy with end-of-the-year activities, DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE. Mrs. Cole
