PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

ALL STUDENTS

**FBLA MEETING – There will be an FBLA meeting on Wednesday at lunch in Room 510. We will be discussing our Tri-City BBQ. Mrs. Conant
**THEATRE DEPARTMENT HONORS – Congratulations to the cast of Seussical for receiving numerous honors last weekend at the MACY awards, an awards program that recognizes outstanding work in high school musicals. Receiving the Bright Spot Award for performers who bring something special to a minor role were David Cotton, Ryan Yoder, Tommie Poston, Becca Wicks, Breanne Hansen, Farah Bivens, Matt Ukes, and Rachel Westergaard. Receiving Special Recognition for a performance that greatly enhanced the show were Ashley Hill and Jordan Young. Receiving an Achievement Award for showing distinction in a challenging role were Alex Gobby, Marta De La Torre, Josh Nelson, Lauren Roach, and Rod Bagheri. Receiving Outstanding Achievement for exceptional merit in a challenging role were Autumn Thomas, Daniel Hunt, and Sarah Schultz. The entire ensemble also received Highest Achievement for professionalism well above the norm for high school theatre. You have certainly made El Dorado proud! Mrs. Switzer
**THEATRE DEPARTMENT SENIOR FINAL – The last performance for senior theatre students will take place this Friday at 7:00 p.m. in the theatre. Admission is free. Be there as this year’s outstanding senior actors take their final bows. Mrs. Switzer
**COMEDY SPORTZ MEETING – The last meeting of the year for the Comedy Sportz team will be Friday after school in the theatre. It will be our end of the year party, so team members should bring food to share! Mrs. Switzer
**YEARBOOKS – The cost to purchase a yearbook is now $110.00. There are about 30 books left. Come and get them quick or there may not be any left. Also, clear up those debts! You will not get your yearbook until you clean up your financial responsibilities. Mrs. Brick
COMMUNITY SERVICE – Interested in volunteering at an elementary school this summer? Numerous opportunities are currently available throughout our school district. Please see Mr. Gullotti in the attendance office to sign-up. The deadline to apply is Friday, June 13th. Mr. Gullotti
LITERARY JOURNALS ARE HERE – If you pre-ordered a literary journal you may pick yours up all this week at lunch in Room P-29. You must have your pink ticket to claim you book. Books will be distributed this week only.

COMMUNITY SERVICE – Sierra Vista Elementary is looking for volunteers to help at their school carnival on Saturday, June 7th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Please contact Julie Garcia at 996-1961, ext. 7402 for details. Mr. Gullotti
YEARBOOKS - Yearbooks will be distributed TODAY at 2:15 p.m. for seniors and after school for everyone else. Have you bought one yet? There are only 50 books left and they will go fast. Last year was a sellout and we anticipate that happening again. The price is $110.00. Don’t wait or you may be disappointed. You MUST have I.D. to pick up your book and you may not pick up someone else’s book or your book if you have a debt. Mrs. Brick
COMMUNITY SERVICE – Community Service is available in the girl’s locker room during the summer. Anyone interested should contact Lupe in the girl’s locker room. Lupe

FINAL TRANSCRIPTS – It’s time to start turning in your request for your final transcripts. Bring a stamped addressed envelope with your name on the inside flap to the Counseling Office. Please remember that the postage has changed to 42 cents. The next few weeks are going to be busy with end-of-the-year activities, DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE. Mrs. Cole
