EL DORADO HIGH SCHOOL DAILY BULLETIN THURSDAY REGULAR OCTOBER 30, 2008 SCHEDULE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE ALL STUDENTS **HALLOWEEN DRESS UP DAY Friday is Halloween Dress Up Day. School dress code must be followed. No ethnic characters. No weapons. Prizes will be given in scariest, funniest, cutest, most original and best group during lunch in the theatron. Come to the theatron TODAY at lunch and see if your plane flies the furthest! The winner gets a $10.00 Starbucks card and 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place winners get candy. Ms. Cecil CALIFORNIA STATE STUDENT MOCK ELECTION This is the week for the election. You will have a chance to vote for McCain or Obama as well as California Propositions. Voting will take place during lunch in the lunch area and in front of Room 308 TODAY. Results will be sent to the California Secretary of State where they will be added to a state wide high school election tally. Take part in our experiment in democracy. VOTE! Entrance fee is $1.00 per person. Ms. Prisbrey LOOK GREAT ON HALLOWEEN Looking for the perfect finishing touch to your Halloween costume? On Friday the theatre department will be open from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. to help you create the perfect Halloween face. Encore Club students will do your makeup for the low price of only $5.00. Zombies, witches, fairies, seriously wounded individuals you name it, we can make you look like it. While walk-ins are welcome, we encourage you to sign up for at time slot so that you have first priority. We will be taking sign ups this week at lunch TODAY. You must pay the $5.00 to reserve your spot. Then, come in on Friday to have your makeup done for you. We will provide everything to make you look SPOOKtacular!
