**CONGRATULATIONS – Congratulations to Blair Mason who has been selected as this year’s HOBY representative! Bailey Castle was chosen as our alternate. Congratulations to both of you. Mrs. Pike
**FOOTLOOSE AUDITION INFORMATION – If you are interested in auditioning for the all-school musical, Footloose, please come to the Encore Club meeting at lunch on Thursday in the theatre. You do not have to be an Encore member to receive the audition information. Mrs. Switzer
**COMEDY SPORTZ CHARITY MATCH – The Comedy Sportz charity match will be held on Tuesday, November 25th in the theatre at 7:00 p.m. This evening of head-to-head improvisation against Valencia High School is sure to be a fun night for the whole family. All proceeds from the match will be donated to the Red Cross Orange County chapter in an effort to help provide relief for the recent wildfires. We hope you can make it to the event. Mrs. Switzer
**ALUMNI NEWS – Last weekend, El Dorado graduate, Lesley McKinnell, auditioned and was accepted as a cast member of the 1st National Touring Company of the musical, Wicked. She is the second El Dorado graduate to become a member of one of the Wicked casts. Patrick McCollum, an El Dorado graduate, was a member of the Chicago Company and is now the Choreography Captain for all Wicked companies worldwide. El Dorado graduates continue to make their mark in the arts. Mr. Peterson
**BOWLING PARTY – Don’t forget to turn in your permission slip by TODAY for the Special Friends bowling party this Friday. Bring them to Room 408. Mrs. Boese
**LITERATURE CLUB – There will be a meeting on Friday in Room 210. Bring your suggestion for a classic book to read. Mrs. Perkins
CIF FOOTBALL – Be at Bradford Stadium TONIGHT to support our fellow Hawks in the first round of CIF football. Be there at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $5.00 for children and students with an I.D. card. It’s $8.00 for general admission. No one gets in free for CIF games. Ms. Cecil
CANNED FOOD DRIVE – Please bring cans to your second period class by Friday. Help the less fortunate have a nicer holiday. Mrs. Crays
BOY’S GOLF – Anyone interested in playing on the boy’s golf team this year must attend a meeting TODAY at lunch in Room 302. This is for all new and returning players. Mr. Carlson
ENCORE CLUB – There is an Encore Club meeting TODAY at lunch in the theatre. If you missed the last meeting you can still join this week. Just bring your $5.00 dues. We will discuss auditions for the musical, Footloose, as well as do a short workshop in Stage Combat. Don’t miss out! Mrs. Switzer
FOOD DAY – Hungry for something new? Food Day is Friday. Bring your money and support our clubs at lunch on Friday. Ms. Cecil
HAWK CONGRESS – The second Hawk Congress of the year will take place TODAY during 4th period in the teacher’s lounge. All Hawk Congress Representatives should report directly to the lounge after 3rd period. Ms. Cecil
WINTER DANCE – Voting for whether the Winter Dance will be formal or casual ends TODAY, so come to the table in front of Activities and cast your vote. You will receive a spirit card for voting. Give your input. Ms. Cecil
CREATIVE WRITING CLUB – There will be a Creative Writing Club meeting at lunch TODAY. Bring the drafts of your screenplays. Mrs. Wolf
LACROSSE – Interested in being a member of the first ever EDHS Lacrosse team? Girl’s tryouts will be December 1st through 5th. Boy’s tryouts will be December 8th through 12th. Please stop by P-16 before Friday and let Ms. Roberts know you will be attending tryouts! Ms. Roberts
EL DORADO IDOL – Think you have what it takes to be the next El Dorado Idol? Sign up to participate in the theatre department’s annual vocal contest. Students audition with a song sung to a karaoke track. The finalists will compete with two songs in January for cash prizes. Sign ups will take place all this week and next week. There is a $5.00 entry fee for everyone who signs up. Auditions to determine finalists will be held in December. Sign up at the table in front of the theatre TODAY! Mrs. Switzer



STUART LITTLE – The students in Intermediate and Advanced Theatre will present a one act version of Stuart Little. The show starts at 7:00 p.m. on November 21st and 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on November 22nd. This is a great show to bring your younger siblings to. Tickets are $3.00 for children 3 to 12 years old and $5.00 for anyone over 12. The show runs less than an hour. Tickets can be purchased at the door prior to the show or in front of the theatre Tuesday and Wednesday at lunch. Mrs. Switzer

SENIOR OF THE WEEK – This week’s Senior of the Week is Jet Ayala. He gives great contributions to Hawk Talk and that’s why he is this week’s Senior of the Week. Congratulations, Jet! Ms. Cecil
SENIOR QUAD DAY – What’s that poppin’ seniors? Oh, that’s kettle korn coming this Friday. Pop on down to the Senior Quad for some yummy, sweet, salty goodness! Ms. Cecil
