**DANCE TEAM SHOW – Come to the dance team show this weekend, May 11th and 12th in the Performing Arts Center. Not only will you see the dance team dance but also the Everybody Club and members of the boys swim team! Tickets are $5.00 for students and are available at the door ad also during lunch in front of the attendance office.

COMMUNITY SERVICE – Sierra Vista Elementary is looking for volunteers to work their carnival on May 18th from 4:00 – 8:30 p.m. If interested contact Joyce and joyce_lightfoot@yahoo.com. Mrs. Campuzano
COMMUNITY SERVICE – Van Buren Elementary is hosting a carnival on June 8th. They are looking for 20 to 30 students to volunteer. The hours are 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. If interested contact Marie Holper at marie.holper@gmail.com.

CREATIVE WRITING CLUB –TODAY at lunch will be our potluck and the winner of our writing challenge will be announced in Room 202 Mrs. Wolf
COMMUNITY SERVICE – Lupe in the locker room is looking for students to volunteer over the summer to help her. If interested please see her in the girl’s locker room Lupe
FINANCE OFFICE – May 18th is the last day the Finance Office will be accepting checks for any items purchased. We will only accept cash or credit/debit cards for the remainder of the school year. Mrs. Zaldin
PROM TICKETS – Prom tickets are on sale. Prices are as follows: April 30 – May 11: $85.00 with ASB and $95.00 without. May 14 – 18: $95.00 with ASB and $105.00 without. Mr. Campuzano


SCHOLARSHIPS – Our local scholarships are quickly wrapping up, but there are still opportunities to earn money for college. The Chris Weisz Memorial Scholarship – If you have been involved in the aquatics program then this is for you. Chris Weisz is due May 11th. Richard Nixon Library Scholarship is for one senior for $1000. Deadline is May 11th. Last but certainly not least, if you have been affected by cancer in some way, check out the #1dollar No Shave November Scholarship. The money being awarded for this scholarship has been earned by you, our very own Hawk family. Deadline is May 15th. Good luck! Mrs. Campuzano
COMMUNITY SERVICE – Seniors, if you haven’t completed your community service graduation requirement, then you are now officially on the hold list. Please get your hours in ASAP. This is a district-wide graduation requirement.
