**ARTS PERSON OF THE WEEK – Brandon Ofenstein is a three year member of the band program and plays the trumpet in Wind Ensemble and Jazz 1. He was a featured soloist with Jazz 1 at the Reno Jazz Festival and was awarded with a medal by the judges for Outstanding Musicianship. Mr. Campuzano
COMMUNITY SERVICE – Sierra Vista Elementary is looking for volunteers to work their carnival on May 18th from 4:00 – 8:30 p.m. If interested contact Joyce and firstname.lastname@example.org. Mrs. Campuzano
COMMUNITY SERVICE – Van Buren Elementary is hosting a carnival on June 8th. They are looking for 20 to 30 students to volunteer. The hours are 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. If interested contact Marie Holper at email@example.com.
COMMUNITY SERVICE – Lupe in the locker room is looking for students to volunteer over the summer to help her. If interested please see her in the girl’s locker room Lupe
FINANCE OFFICE – May 18th is the last day the Finance Office will be accepting checks for any items purchased. We will only accept cash or credit/debit cards for the remainder of the school year. Mrs. Zaldin
PROM TICKETS – Prom tickets are on sale. Prices are May 14 – 18: $95.00 with ASB and $105.00 without.
**LIBRARY BOOKS –The Senior Hold List comes out this week. All seniors who have library books checked out will be on the list. Seniors who have textbooks checked out from the library will be added to the list later. Please return library books and math textbooks to the library as soon as you are finished with them. Mrs. Guy
**SENIOR HOLD LIST – Starting Wednesday the Senior Hold List will be posted in all Econ and Government class as well as on the Attendance window. Please check the list daily as names go off and come on. Mrs. Spickelmier
