**ATTENTION FUTURE AP SPANISH STUDENTS – Please stop by Room 501 to get the summer assignment.

**ACADEMIC DECATHLON – The Frosh/Soph Academic Decathlon team had many significant individual accomplishments in addition to placing 5th Overall in Orange County. The most individual medals were earned by Levana Sung, six, and Daniel Aquino, five. Peter Weisel and Anita Mohajeri also earned medals. Romney Olson had the highest score on the team in three subjects, (Science, Math and Art) as did Alyson Tsai, (Lit, Music and Social Science). Sarah Yee was highest in Essay and Anita Mohajeri was highest in Speech. Congratulations to all of our OCAD students! Mr. Kanne
PHYSICS AND CHEM CLUB MEETING – There will be a club meeting TODAY at lunch in Room 708. All students are welcome! There will be an explosive demo and officer information distributed for next year.

ROP CLASSES – Students interested in signing up for after school ROP classes for next year: Please go online to www.nocrop.org and fill out the application for “Regional Course Offerings”. Then print it, sign it, get parent signature and turn it in to your counselor or Miss Carvelli ASAP. Miss Carvelli
COMMUNITY SERVICE – Topaz Elementary is having an end of the year family night on June 8th. We need volunteers to help with it. If interested email Lisa Macdonald at lmacdonald@pylusd.org or text her at 714-904-9763.

SUPERHERO FIELD TRIP – The Superhero Club is planning a trip to Laser Island for a Heroes vs Villains Laser Tag event. The event will be happening on Sunday, May 10th. Please sign up in room 903. For more information speak with Dyllin Ryman. Mr. Block
SENIOR QUAD TAKE OVER – Hey Class of 2019. Senior Quad Take Over is Monday at lunch! Beach dress-up day on Monday. Be there for a special treat. Start thinking of senior song suggestions! Mr. Campuzano

COMMUNITY SERVICE – Van Buren Elementary is hosting a carnival on June 8th. They are looking for 20 to 30 students to volunteer. The hours are 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. If interested contact Marie Holper at marie.holper@gmail.com.

CAP AND GOWNS – Cap and gowns will be distributed TODAY at lunch. Please keep checking the senior hold list as names come off and go on daily. If your name is on the list you will not get your cap and gown.
