PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

ALL STUDENTS
**SILENT NIGHT – The annual EDHS Basketball Silent Night is happening on January 18th. Find your favorite, wildest, craziest, silliest outfit ever and wear it to both the boys and girls games. It’s a ton of fun and something El Dorado has done for nearly a decade! Mr. Campuzano
**DISNEY DRESS UP DAY – Mark your calendars for a Disney dress up day on January 16th. Wear your favorite Disney gear and don’t forget to go to the Musical theater show on January 25th. Mr. Campuzano
**BLACK AND GOLD NIGHT – Wear black and gold TONIGHT as our boys and girls basketball teams take on Yorba Linda. Let’s cover YL in black and gold TONIGHT! Mr. Campuzano
**TRACK & FIELD – Tryouts are Tuesday, January 15th and Wednesday, January 16th at 3:00 p.m. on the track. If you missed the meeting last month, please see Coach LaMonda in Room 806 for the information that was passed out.

**CSF MEMBERS – We have a meeting in the little theater at lunch TODAY. We will be discussing ice skating and the Ruby’s fundraiser. Mrs. Oberle
**ACADEMIC DECATHLON – Our final speech meeting will be on Friday from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Room 202. Be prepared to give your memorized, final version of your speech. Bring your scavenger hunts. Completed ones will earn some Oreo Bomb Cake. Mrs. Wolf
**ESPORTS CLUB – There is a mandatory meeting TODAY in Room 903 at 3:00 p.m. for all club members. Mr. Block has some exciting opportunities and club developments to discuss and needs the entire club in attendance. Please be on time. Mr. Block
**EA SPORTS – Mr. Block has a huge announcement for all gamers who play the “EA Sports NHL” series. The North America Scholastic Esports Federation has partnered with the Anaheim Ducks to create an EA Sports NHL 19 esports tournament this February. Students can win scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 for their own college education, plus grants up to $2,500 for their high schools. In total, winning players and schools will take home scholarships with a combined value of nearly $25,000. If you are interested, and you know that you are, see Mr. Block in Room 903 or speak with Mr. Block at the next esports club meeting TODAY at 3:00 p.m. Mr. Block
ATTENTION JUNIORS AND SENIORS WHO TOOK THE OCTOBER PSAT – On Wednesday, January 9th there will be a PSAT Interpretation Night in the Gai Jones Theater. Scores will be distributed at 6:45 p.m. and the presentation is at 7:00 p.m. C2 Education will present information on how to use your scores to prepare for the SAT. If you are unable to make it, your scores will be distributed at lunch in front of Attendance the days after the presentation.
