**NONSENSE IN THE NEST (ALL GRADES) =- If you’d like to guarantee your spot in one of tomorrow night’s games at Nonsense in the Nest be sure to sign up now in the Activities Office. Mr. Campuzano
**BAGUETTE SALES – Baguette pre-sales start Monday. Bring your $2.00 to buy a baguette from a French Club member or in Room 406. Pick up will be on Friday, April 12th at break and lunch. All French Club members, be sure to come at lunch on Monday to get your pre-sale slips. Mrs. Lovering
**ESPORTS CLUB – There is a mandatory meeting TODAY. Even if you are a member and haven’t been to the club for a little while, please don’t miss out on this meeting TODAY at 3:00 p.m. Please see Mr. Block if you are unable to make it. Mr. Block
**NONSENSE FOOD DAY – TODAY come by the senior quad to get food from your classes table. Seniors – churros, juniors – chicken nuggets, sophomores – root beer floats and freshmen – Del Taco. Each food item will be $2.00 to $3.00 and all proceeds will go back to your class. Mr. Campuzano
**STAR WARS CLUB – There will be a meeting TODAY in Room 702. Mr. Campuzano
**ALPHA CLUB – There will be a meeting in Room 204 Friday at lunch. Mr. Campuzano
**INTEREST IN JOINING THE EDHS CHEER TEAM – There is a mandatory informational meeting on Wednesday, April 10th at 6:30 p.m. in the PE room. Tryout packets will be distributed at this time. Tryouts are April 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Joe Raya Gym. Mr. Campuzano
**RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE – Attention all students and staff. The Red Cross Club is having their annual blood drive this Monday, in the PE classroom. Anyone 16 or older can donate, but they need a parental consent form regardless of age, (you can pick this up in Room 302). It is running throughout the day from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm.

ATTENTION ALL FRESHMEN, SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS – Love science? Do research over the course of the year by applying to the Southern California Academy of Sciences 2019-2020 Research Training Program. Work on an actual research project with a professor for approximately 20 hours total from August through April. Online application is due June 15th. EL DORADO IDOL – Are you a singer who would like to earn some cash? Sign up to audition for our annual El Dorado Idol competition! Just scan the QR code on the audition flyers around campus to sign up for a time! Sign up by April 5th. Mrs. Switzer

COMMUNITY SERVICE – Blessed Sacrament Children’s Learning Center is having a fundraising event and needs help serving dinner from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. on April 27th. Contact Tracie Donaldson if interested at 714-528-3070.

COMMUNITY SERVICE – The Placentia Girl Scouts are hosting their Annual Father Daughter Pinewood Derby event and they need volunteers to help run the booths and the track. The event is Sunday, April 28th at the Yorba Linda Community Center There are different shifts available. To volunteer for this contact Angelica Skullr at PSUDerby@yahoo.com or 714-595-0299. **FULLERTON COLLEGE – Fullerton College is hosting a Family and High School Senior Night on April 24th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. All first time college students can attend Fullerton College for the first year free! Mrs. Hamilton
ANGEL GAME – Seniors this is a special announcement just for you. On April 30th, the Angels are taking on the Toronto Blue Jays at Angel Stadium. They are hosting El Dorado seniors and teachers for that evening’s game. Because it’s the class of 2019, they are offering tickets to us for only $19.00, but here’s what you get, you each will receive a special edition Angels hat embroidered with the graduating year 2019 and a Shoehei Ohatani sweatshirt with your ticket. Right now I have 100 tickets available in the Activities Office. Tickets are available for anyone, but only seniors and teachers will get the hat, all other guest will receive the sweatshirt.
