Step 1: Find you spending report. Fill out what you spend money on this past Saturday and Sunday to the best of your memory.
Do you have at least 5 days worth of entries? (If not, include more from last week or add some this week.)
Step 2: Fill out the last column of the Spending Report by:
A)Giving your purchases scoring numbers. Reflect on if each of your purchases were:
1)Necessary 2)Meaningful 3)Luxury 4)Impulsive
B)Writing a sentence explaining if you regret the purchase now that times passed and you are looking back on it. Explain why you regret it, or why you think it was a valuable way to spend money.

Step 3: Turn in your Spending Report Log before Friday, 2/5.

Step 4: Enter the Epigraphs into your Into the Wild Notebook. Write 2-4 sentence analysis on how each epigraph related to the contents of the chapter it preceded.

Step 1: Transfer (copy and paste) your sentences onto the Rough Draft Essay Doc. below.

Step 2: Format your sentences into paragraphs- adjust indented sentences, add your MLA Header, (creative) Title, and parenthetical citations.

Step 3: Revise or finish writing your outline sentences. You rough draft should be a completed version of your essay.

Step 4: Use the Informative Rubric essay handout below to make sure your are meeting all requirements for the writing.

Step 5: Highlight the boxes for each section as you finish your rough draft. Use the rubric as a guide for what to improve on for your final draft entry.

***This rough draft is due before class on Monday.
