Use your Satire worksheet to create thesis statements on the following slides as a collaborative group. Be sure to add these thesis statements to your AP Data sheet.

Read the instructions attached. For your assigned allusion, you will type a research paper MLA format. You will have 1 class period to work on this and then it is HW. Your research paper will be due Friday, December 3.


Points will be DEDUCTED for improper MLA format (header, heading, page number, font, double space, works cited page)

Make a slideshow complete with 2 slides. Follow the instructions below.


You will have Tuesday 11/9 and Monday 11/15 in class to work.

This is an individual assignment. You may have some class time to work, but you should plan about 1.5 hours per week to work on this project. Remember, this is a marathon, not a sprint.

Prepare for the seminar by reading the article and closely answering the questions attached (you can answer them on a hard copy printout as well or type them here. If you handwrite, be sure to private comment that to your teacher. Read the article and annotate as you read. Consider important/key ideas, questions you have, etc.

Choose to annotate in your book OR digitally. If you choose to annotate in your book Choose the [Simplified Version] analysis. make a copy of the document and share with your group.

Work with a partner. 1 copy per team. Comment your partner's name and include on the document. 


Answers can be BULLET POINT ideas.

Hi Scholars! I miss you! I'm really sorry I'm still out! But, I hope to be back soon!! Here are your tasks for today:
1. Watch the screencast below (you may have to download it and if it isn't working please ask the sub to play it as a class). My voice is killer right now, so enjoy that awfulness =) I've also attached the slides to help you if needed. 

2. Read the Machiavelli excerpt and ANNOTATE as you read (you can use the highlight and comment feature on Google Docs or an extension like Kami if you know how to use that--just be sure to save with annotations!)
3. Answer the questions attached to the doc


I don't mind if you collaborate, but be sure to get your work done in class so it's not HW. Ch. 5-8 due tomorrow!
