Welcome to AP US History!

 

Advanced Placement United States History is a challenging course meant to be the equivalent of a college survey course.  This two-semester survey of American history covers the pre-Columbian period to the present.  This course culminates with students taking the Advanced Placement Examination in United States History on Friday, May 10, 2019.  It is expected that all students will take the AP Exam; students passing the AP Exam may earn college credit for this course.

 

Over the course of the year we will work hard, read and write extensively, and have great discussions along the way.
