California Scholarship Federation (CSF) is an academic and service organization. Students apply each semester based on previous semester's grades and must have good citizenship (no U's and no more than 1 N). There are monthly general meetings, monthly activities, and quarterly service activities. There is usually 1 fundraiser per semester for scholarships and Seal Bearer accoutrement. Students who are involved with CSF and have maintained good standing for min. 4 semesters, including 1 semester based on senior grades, qualify as CSF Seal Bearers which entitles them to wear lamp pin and gold cords at graduation, have CSF seal on their diploma, CSF Seal Bearer status notation on transcripts, and a certificate. Seal Bearers are also given the opportunity to apply for scholarships.
