**YEARBOOK – Are you looking for an elective that offers art credit? Yearbook might be looking for you. We need a few extra students to help with photography, graphic design, copy writing and producing that little book at the end of the year. Stop by Room 905 if you are interested. In Yearbook, people pay money to read your homework!

**ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – This week’s Athlete of the Week is Mackenzie Sullivan. Kenzie, our libero, helped us to a 7 – 0 record and she was chosen as the MVP of the Azusa Tournament. Keep up the hard work and dedication Kenzie! Mr. Campuzano
**ARTS PERSON OF THE WEEK – This week’s Arts Person of the Week is Samantha Pietenpol! Sam is the president of the Thespians and is actively involved in our upcoming production of the Laramie Project. She is the lead critic for our Cappies team. She is a wonderful leader and an example of what it means to be a Golden Hawk!

ACADEMIC DECATHLON – Academic Decathlon is a competition where the team from El Dorado competes against 41 other high schools in Orange County in ten academic subjects. The theme of the competition this year is Africa. Join us at lunch on Tuesday in Room 708 to find out more about it. See you then! Mr. Kanne
BELL WEEK COIN DRIVE – Starting TODAY of Bell Week we will be having a coin challenge with Valencia. This year’s proceeds will be going to the Hurricane Harvey Relief fund to help support victims of the hurricane in Houston. Mr. Campuzano
BELL WEEK DRESS UP – Hey Hawks! Just a reminder that Bell Week is this week. On Tuesday we are going to attack the tigers so it’s tacky Tuesday. On Wednesday Valencia is trashy and Eldo’s classy so dress up spiffy. Thursday, Valencia is old news, so dress up as old people, and our tradition, crazy black and gold for Friday. **SENIOR OF THE WEEK – In honor of the Bell Game this Friday, our Senior of the Week is quarterback Jack Strouse. Not only is Jack a great player on the field, but he is a great student in the classroom. Along with his athletic skills, he is able to excel in his AP and Honors courses. Congratulations Jack!
