**PROTEIN LAB FUNDRAISER – This Wednesday, EDHS is having a fundraiser at The Protein Lab all day on Imperial in Brea. Show your flyer or a picture of it and 20% of the proceeds go to EDHS. Mr. Campuzano

**ARTS PERSON OF THE WEEK – Parker Spann a.k.a. “Triple P” is a hard-working, thoughtful and really coming into his own as an artist this year. His exploratory methods and curiosity for all things ceramic make him a well- rounded student and an excellent choice for Arts Peron of the Week. Mr. Campuzano
**GIRLS SOCCER TRYOUTS – On Tuesday, October 17th we will be holding tryouts for athletes who are currently in Fall sports or were unable to tryout last Summer. Please plan on making at least one of the two tryout times at either 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on the lower grass field and/or 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the lower grass field. Coach Thomas

HOMECOMING – The Homecoming Dance is October 28th. Ticket prices are as follows: October 4 – 13 are $35.00 with ASB and $40.00 without ASB and all guests. October 16 – 27 are $40.00 with ASB and $45.00 without AST and all guests. Mrs. Zaldin

ASIAN PACIFIC YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROJECT – The annual Asian Pacific Youth Leadership Project conference provides a select group of 50 juniors and seniors throughout California with a unique leadership opportunity in Sacramento. At this conference, students will learn more about themselves, issues of importance to their communities, and how to empower their leadership potential through the political process, public service, and community service. There is no cost to students accepted to this prestigious conference. For more information and/or to apply, visit the EDHS Career Center or go to www.apylp.org. Applications are due by October 25th.

OUT OF STATE COLLEGE FAIR – Seniors! If you are considering attending an “out of state” school, you should be attending the Out of State College Fair on October 13th.
