**SCIENCE OLYMPIAD – There is a meeting TODAY at lunch in Room 901. 15 El Dorado students will be competing on our first ever Science Olympiad team tomorrow. They will take part in 23 different events spanning a variety of science and engineering topics. DISNEY CLUB MEETING – TODAY at lunch we will be having a meeting in Room 204 to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a movie and snacks! Mr. Wolf
VALENTINE’S DAY DRESS UP – Valentine’s Day is coming up this Tuesday, so wear red if you are taken, pink if it’s complicated, white if you’re single and black if you’re anti-Valentine’s Day! Mr. Campuzano
SPEECH & DEBATE – If you are ready to improve your speaking skills then Speech & Debate is the place for you this spring! Come be part of a program that will prepare you for college and beyond. There is an informational meeting TODAY in Room 307 at lunch. Come find out more! Ms. McIntosh
COMMUNITY SERVICE – Do you enjoy nature? Do you need community service hours? Then you should apply for the Parks and Recreation Departments Volunteen program. Pick up a form on the community service board in the office. Mr. Campuzano
COMMUNITY SERVICE – Community service hours are available helping Cub Scout Pack 897 during their Blue and Gold Banquet at the Danish Lutheran Church on Bastanchury in Yorba Linda on February 25th. The hours would be from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. doing a variety of things during the banquet. If interested call Walt Galli at 714-920-1175.

FACULTY FOLLIES – Faculty Follies is coming up in just a few weeks! Next week, tickets will go on sales in front of the little theater at lunch. They are only $10.00 and all the money goes toward scholarships for seniors. This is a great night of teacher performances that sells out every year, so be sure to get your tickets early. MOCK EXAMS – March and April test dates for the SAT & Act are quickly approaching. Feel confident walking into that test by practicing at EDHS’ very own Mock Exam. We will be hosting the Mock Exam here on campus on Saturday, Feb 25th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for only $10.00. FLYING SAMARITANS – Come support the fundraiser for Flying Samaritans, a non-profit that provides health care for the impoverished in Mexico, by going to Holiday Skates on February 11th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $12.00. This price is with or without skates. Mr. Campuzano
CSF – CSF applications for the 2nd semester are out now in Room 704. The application is due by February 24th. Everyone needs to reapply. Freshman are now welcome to join the California Scholarship Federation. Come have some fun. Mrs. Oberle
REACH FOUNDATION SHAMROCK N RUN – The Reach Foundation is having the annual Shamrock n Run. They need people to help out with this big event. Come check out the Community Service Board for more information.
