On behalf of the Counseling Department, welcome to El Dorado!  It is an honor to work at such an excellent school and to be able to guide your student on his/her journey through high school.

The counseling department consists of 4 counselors, a college & career technician, 2 wellness specialists, a counseling clerk, and a registrar. Each student is assigned to a counselor by last name. We are here to assist students and parents in the following areas: academic counseling, college advisement, transcript evaluation, letters of recommendation, scholarship information, career/technical education, personal/social counseling, and community resources. Our goal is to help your high school student become a healthy, well-rounded, successful member of society.

El Dorado has a vast array of activities, athletic teams, and academic programs. Students are encouraged to get involved; there is something for everyone! School involvement and connectedness play a major role in creating a successful high school experience. Encourage your student to take advantage of all that El Dorado has to offer!
