It is an honor and a privilege to introduce myself as the incoming Assistant Principal of El Dorado High School. I am humbled to join this incredible school and continue the tradition of excellence El Dorado is known for. As a community member and PYLUSD employee, I have personally witnessed the spirit and positive culture that permeates the campus, and I am thrilled to be a part of your team of outstanding educators and support staff. I am eager to meet each of you and learn from your expertise and insights. 

I have been in education for 14 years, primarily serving secondary students. My journey began as a program specialist serving ACCESS students for OCDE, where I focused on prevention, intervention and crisis response. Later, I taught English Language Arts and AVID at Tustin High School in Tustin Unified, before becoming a teacher at Travis Ranch Middle School, where I continued teaching AVID and ELA. Having worked with various student populations, I am particularly excited to be back on a high school campus!

In the past year, I have had the privilege of serving as the Secondary ELA/ELD Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) for PYLUSD. In this role, I collaborated with all of our PYL Middle and High Schools. My interactions with the teachers at Eldo brought me immense joy and I cherished being on this campus. 

I live in Yorba Linda with my husband, Bryan, and two daughters, Bennett (8) and Delaney (6), both of whom attend a school in PYL. Over the past few years, my husband and I have loved coaching both girls in soccer and softball, and they are eagerly looking forward to attending events at EDHS. As a family, we enjoy cooking together, spending time outdoors, whether it is hiking, running, or simply enjoying each other’s company around the barbecue with friends and family. 

I am eagerly looking forward to being a part of the El Dorado High School community and contributing to its continued success. Together, let’s create an exceptional and inspiring learning environment for our students.
