**ARTS PERSON OF THE WEEK – Matt Arnett is this week’s Arts Person. Matt has been a student in the video production program and the DMAA for four years. His strength is definitely on the tech side of things. He is an expert in graphics and visual effects and is a tremendously important part of Hawk Talk, our live events teams and visual effects for films. Mr. Campuzano
**VALENTINE’S DAY – Valentine’s Day is Wednesday! Wear the following according to your status: white is single, red is taken, pink is it’s complicated, black is anti v-day and green is will marry for money! Also, don’t forget to come to the theatron for a kiss! Mr. Campuzano
**WING STOP FUNDRAISER – This Thursday from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. there is a fundraiser to support Eldo’s ASB. It’s the location on La Palma in Anaheim Hills. Up to 20% will be donated to El Dorado. You have to bring a flyer for Eldo to get money back. Pick up a flyer in the Activities Office. Mr. Campuzano
**JAPANESE CLUB – The Japanese Club will be out in front of the 200 building at lunch teaching anyone who wants to learn how to fold an origami heart and make a Valentine’s card! Come join us at lunch and make your sweetheart or sweet friends a Valentine’s card! Mrs. Okada
ATTENTION BOY’S BASKETBALL JV & FROSH – Turn your uniforms in starting February 13th to February 20th to Lupe in the girl’s locker room. If you don’t you will receive 2 hours of detention. Lupe
COMMUNITY SERVICE – The City of Yorba Linda Parks and Recreation has many openings for their Volunteen Program during the summer. If interested please stop by the front desk for an application. Mrs. Spickelmier

COMMUNITY SERVICE – Community service hours are available at Rose Drive Friends Church in their food pantry. They feed hundreds of hungry families every month. Volunteers are needed to help set up food distribution help clients shop the pantry and clean up. Hours are every Wednesday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. Contact Tony at tterling@yahoo.com with questions or to sign up. Mr. Dupont
ARE YOU INTERESTED IN A CAREER IN TEACHING – There is a teacher pathway program at Fullerton College that helps guide you through the process while also helping pay for books, materials and placing you into the field. There is a conference called Teaching Matters on February 24th paid for by Fullerton College. If you are interested in learning more about the program or attending the field trip please see Mrs. Hamilton ASAP as space is limited. Mrs. Hamilton

**SENIOR OF THE WEEK –This week’s Senior of the Week is Andrew Lutz! Andrew is a part of our water polo and swim team. In addition to athletics, Andrew succeeds in all of his AP and honors courses. Andrew is always a positive spirit and a great friend to have. Congratulations Andrew! Mr. Campuzano

FINANCIAL AID – Time is running out to apply for financial aid. Applications are due March 2nd.
