The City of Yorba Linda is looking to partner with schools in the PLYUSD to help promote upcoming events for students of the community. In addition to upcoming events, we also provide volunteer opportunities for high school students who are looking to volunteer or earn service hours.
By partnering with the surrounding high schools in the Placentia Yorba Linda Unified School District, we aim to:
Facilitate Volunteer Hours: Provide students with a diverse range of volunteer opportunities that align with their interests and skills. These experiences not only fulfill required volunteer hours but also nurture a sense of civic responsibility and community involvement.
Promote Teen-Centric Events: Showcase upcoming events specifically tailored to the interests and needs of middle school students. These events are designed to be fun, creating a platform for teens to socialize, learn, and engage with their peers in a positive environment.
In the spring we begin accepting applications for our Summer Volunteen program. Where students have the opportunity to volunteer at our Adventure Playground summer camp, go on field trips, and do more fun stuff!
