This course is designed to develop an awareness and understanding of United States History and Geography in the twentieth century. This course includes a review of the political, social, and economic developments leading to the emergence of the United States as a industrial power in 1900. Emphasis is then given to an in-depth study of the political, economic, social, cultural, geographical, and diplomatic events and issues of twentieth-century America.
