Just another reminder to all my students that TUESDAY the 9th is the last day to turn in your text books before taking the final. I must do a book count to be sure I have them BEFORE any of my students can take their final, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Finals schedule:

Wednesday - Finals period 1 and 6, with 20 minute period in between - FULL day.

Thursday -  Finals 2 and 3, minimum day,

Friday - finals 4 and 5, Minimum day, last day..

Due on Thursday June 4th is the Frog cut out and the Frog dissection packet, together they are worth 200 points. Turning them in late will result in a 50% cut.

Monday June 1st and Tuesday June 2nd,  classes will be on block schedule and will be dissecting a frog. The frog lab will be due on Wednesday June 3rd.

Due on Wednesday the 27th,( minimum day) from periods 2,4,and 6th period is worksheet 30:3 with bookwork p. 789 (1-5) and MC. p. 793 (8-10) worth 83 points.

Due on Wednesday May 27th is the Chapter 30 packet from periods 1,3, and 5. These were the only classes I saw on Tuesday and received the packet.

On Wednesday I am handing out the final study guide that all students must fill out to receive 100 points. The list of words is designed and tailored to meet the second semester final contents. If you are absent today please print it out.

Due on Tuesday for my period 1,3, and 5th period classes in the worksheet 30:3 and bookwork p. 789 (1-5) and MC. p793 (8-10). It will be worth 83 points.

TODAY is the LAST day I will accept disposable gloves from periods 1, 3  and 5. Tomorrow the 27th will be the last day for periods 2, 4 and 6. Sorry for those who missed the opportunity, (I did give 5 full days last week) and thank you to all the wonderful boxes for future dissections. Appreciate every box I received.

Friday the 17th an activity is happening after school, (2:45), it's called LIP-DUB. It's a video of school spirit and involves the entire school including STAFF. If you go to the front of the school and participate you can pickup up 25 extra credit points. To receive these points you must take a video of the video you took part in and a selfie with you in it and the event. How you do this is up to you but I have to be convinced you participated in the EPIC, Historical event that will forever be tradition at ELDO. SEE YOU THERE. If you make a poster with positive comments about the school and video that too in the video you can double your points. SPREAD THE WORD!!!

FACULTY FOLLIES!!!! EXTRA CREDIT!!!!! take a selfie of you at the follies with the stage in the back ground and bring your ticket and I will offer a bunch of extra credit points. You have to have the selfie taken and the ticket to get the points. Today is going to be a GREAT day, WE LOVE YOU ELDO STUDENTS.

Welcome back, hope everyone had a restful week off. Just wanted to offer some EXTRA CREDIT to all of my students who attend the Faculty Follies this Friday night, April 17th, at 7pm in the PAC. To receive the credit you must take a selfie with the performance stage in the background and a ticket stub. Due on Monday  April 20th. 50 extra credit points. (Please know that the selfie and the ticket stub must be turned in to me in order to receive the points.) !!!!!

Today, Monday March 9th will be your last day in class to work on your group Ecology project. It is due at the beginning of class tomorrow Tuesday March 10th. I have also attached the power points for the next chapters being covered and the March calender.

It's been a few days since I posted and understandable so. The Ecology project has been put back a day and will not be due until the beginning of the period on Tuesday instead of Monday. I also posted an extra credit opportunity that has been postponed until further notice.  Know you all are loved and cherished.

Today the class will be introduced to your Ecology Field Study Group Project. Official research and on the field study will begin on Monday. Please be prepared to gather as much information as possible in 4 days. You will have access to the chrome books in class Wed.-Friday. The project is due on Monday March 9th at the beginning of the period. Have a great time working as a TEAM!!

EXTRA CREDIT!!!!!! There is a show, "Faculty Follies"  in the Performing Arts Center on MARCH  6th, 7:00 pm.  I will be giving extra credit if you attend. To prove you went to the show you have to turn in the ticket stub with a selfie of you and the back ground the stage on that night of the show. The show is for a great cause, it does cost $10 dollars but the proceeds go to Senior Scholarships. Extra credit will be 20 points.

Wednesday we will be starting our last chapter in Ecology, Chapter 5. I have attached the power point for both 5:1 and 5:2.

Remember your biome brochure is due PRINTED at the beginning of the period, no exceptions.

Today Chapter 4 crossword puzzle and Chapter 4 review sheet is due. No bookwork was assigned. Thursday and Friday will be designated to working with the Chrome notebooks on your brochure. Please be sure to look at your computer to see if it is equipped with the proper programs to construct a tri-fold brochure.

Worksheet 4:4 and book work only, no multiple choice is due. Also today you will be picking your biome and preparing to research and put together a TRI-FOLD brochure advertizing the biome area.

 

It is so important that you are sure you have a working printer so you can print your brochure out and have it ready to turn in to me on Tuesday after the 3 day weekend.
