Today we continued to review the Preterite conjugations of "e-i" and "o-u" stem changing verbs, as well as reflexives. **Absent students: Use the Preterite tense to fill in the blanks of the attached handout. It's like the game "Mad Libs" in English where you fill in the blanks with the first verb that comes to mind. 

Today's grammar focus was conjugating "e to i" stem changing verbs in the Preterite tense. **Absent students: Please fill in the blanks of the attached worksheet with the appropriate stem changing verbs in the "preterite" tense. It is a dialogue between a waiter who is making numerous mistakes and his boss ("el jefe"). 

Escribe tu propio anuncio: In groups, students will write an advertisement for a product they are promoting using verbs like "gustar, encantar, interesar, fascinar, and importar" with indirect object pronouns ("me, te, le, nos, les"). The attached power point presentation provides several examples of different types of ads. The advertisement should be short, to the point, and creative!
