 Finals begin, period 1 for 126 minutes, then break and 2, 3, 4, and 5, lunch and than another 126 minutes for period 6 final.

 Last official full school day with a normal late start schedule. We will review Jeopardy style covering chapter 26, 27, 28 and 30.

 Frog Dissection, both lab and packet are both due at the end of the period.

 Continue working on your second Frog packet. It will be due at the end of the period on Wednesday after the Frog Dissection.

Finish up Frog cut out packet, questions, organ function table and crossword puzzle. It is due at the end of the period. You will pick up another dissection packet to begin and it will be due on Thursday, beginning of class. You will have time to work on that assignment Monday, Tuesday and after dissection on Wednesday.

Today is the first of many dissections this spring. We will be dissecting an Earthworm and you will be given homework that includes questions from the section 27:3, Annelids. Both are due Friday, tomorrow.

Today you will be working in the lab doing a natural selection activity that involves gathering food with specific tools. You will also receive a one sided review sheet covering chapter 16.

Today is the last day to put your group projects together. Remember absolutely no library printing during class time. Projects are due at the end of the period. Thank you hope you had a relaxing weekend.

This whole week you and your lab partners will be working outside researching your quadrant. You will also have access to chrome books inside the class room.  Be sure to exchange emails and cell phone numbers to keep in contact with your  groups members. Friday the class will be introduced to a very important large group project. The project will extend through Thursday. Each group will work together to construct a notebook representing the quadrant assigned. You will have a full week to complete it. The project will be due on Monday March 13th at the end of the period.

Today is the ecology unit exam that is 78 points that includes 45 multiple choice and 32 fill in the blanks. This is the only test so this semester and will be included on next weeks progress grades. Please study and be prepared to turn in your second study guide.

Today is the last day of February and the last day to cover the large ecology unit. The assignment today is on weather and how it affects the population of Whooping Cranes. This assignment will be due tomorrow. Do not forget to finish filling out your second ecology study guide.

Back from a 3 day weekend, I hope all of you got some well deserved rest. The rain was wonderful. As you know I love the rain. Today we will be doing a sunflower population analysis. Have a great rest of the week. Remember the cross word puzzle is due.
