On TUESDAY, we will be learning how to use the linear regression function on your calculator in order to write equations of lines.
If you plan on getting a calculator, you may want to do it this weekend. Remember, that the school only recommends this for Algebra 2. I do have some available for students to use for homework, but the students would need to use them before school in my classroom. If getting a calculator is a hardship on your family, please talk to me after class. I have a limited # of calculators that I can loan out.
Check your syllabus in order to see details about graphing calculators.
If you check the Staples ad, you will see that the TI 83 Plus calculator is $89.99 and the TI84 Plus CE is 119.99 (reg price 159.99). Some students told me that Amazon has used TI83's for $40.
