Course Description

Dear parents/guardians and students, 


¡Bienvenidos! Welcome to my Spanish class! I am Señorita Urrea Castro, and I am pleased to welcome you to my class for the 2025-2026 school year. I am excited and looking forward to beginning this new school year and helping you in the journey to acquire Spanish. Below you  will find class expectations, procedures  and policies along with other important class information. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via email.
 

Course Objectives:

This course stresses the usage of appropriate Spanish and enables the student in the following areas:

  • To further develop speaking and listening skills learned in Spanish I.
  • To further build writing using appropriate Spanish grammar(different verb tenses, adjectives, nouns, adverbs, etc.) at a basic/intermediate level in a variety of new settings.
  • To further build reading and comprehension skills of elementary/intermediate Spanish.
  • To continue the exposure to and understanding of Latin American and Hispanic cultures along with their traditions, values, celebrations and more as started in Spanish I.
