This is a beginning Algebra class, which covers the second half of the Algebra 1 State Content Standards.  We review concepts from Algebra 1A and then move on to the remaining standards in the Algebra 1 curriculum.  In addition, we review for the CAHSEE at the beginning of second semester.  Homework is assigned every Tuesday and Thursday.  Grading is based on the following:  
Classwork/Notes - 50%
                                                                          Homework - 16%
                                                                          Quizzes - 17%
                                                                          Tests - 17%
Quizzes and Tests may be re-taken to impove a poor performance on the first attemp.
This class meets the Algebra graduation requirement and 1 year of math required for a diploma.
