Designated English Language Development 9 is an ELD support class for Bridging and Expanding level English Learner students who are currently enrolled in a 9th grade English Language Arts course. This course follows both California English Language Development and California English Language Arts standards and is designed to support students with additional listening, speaking, reading, and writing instruction to promote and refine students’ fluency in English, with the ultimate goal of reclassification.
