On Friday June 2, the El Dorado Jazz Bands will be performing in our 11th Annual "Jazz Master Concert". This is the gig where we invite a professional jazz musician to perform with our students. This year we will have our 10'ish anniversary with the guest artist from my first JMC, Wayne Bergeron, who will be performing with Jazz 1, 2, and 3.
Wayne Bergeron is one of the world's best trumpet players and can be heard on many movie soundtracks, jazz recordings, and is an accomplished solo artist. If you watched the "Incredibles", he is famous for the opening trumpet lick on the Incredibles Theme Song.
