Dear El Dorado High School Families,

Congratulations!  Your student will be graduating from El Dorado High School on Wednesday,  June 12, at 6:00 p.m.  I am so proud of all this class has accomplished and I look forward to celebrating the Class of 2024 with you.

This letter and the attachments below contains information that all parents of seniors will need.  The Senior Agreement contract was given to your student and must be returned to the counseling office by Friday, May 17th. I ask that you review the Senior Agreement carefully with your son or daughter.  For questions about the Senior Agreement, contact the Counseling Office.  For questions about the graduation ceremony and senior activities, please contact the Activities Office.

The graduation ceremony is at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Bradford Stadium.  Graduation tickets are not required to enter the stadium. The ceremony is voluntary but only comes once in a lifetime.  Therefore, we encourage the participation of all seniors who have met the graduation requirements.  We are committed to making the ceremony a meaningful and dignified culmination of four years of hard work by the class of 2024.  Conduct and dress appropriate to the occasion will be expected of all graduates and guests.  We are sure our graduates and guests will comply with these standards.  It must be understood, however, that any senior who chooses not to display appropriate behavior will be excluded from the graduation ceremony.  We are asking that you, as parents, who have long awaited this day, join us in impressing upon your senior the honor and dignity of this special occasion.  We solicit your cooperation and ask that neither you nor any of your guests bring noisemakers, balloon displays or anything that will detract from the dignity of the ceremony.

For some, your student’s graduation status may be in doubt as you await final grades. If so, please keep in close contact with your student’s counselor and teachers to monitor progress toward graduation.
