Dear Hawk Families and Friends,

We are excited to invite you to the 14th Annual Jazz Master Concert on Friday, May 29, at 7:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center. This special tradition gives our student musicians the opportunity to perform alongside a distinguished professional jazz artist.

This year, we are honored to welcome Nestor Torres, a Latin Grammy Award-winning flutist from Miami, who will perform with all of our El Dorado Jazz Bands. Mr. Samson has admired Nestor’s music and educational work for many years and had the opportunity to meet him at the Jazz Educators Conference in New Orleans this past January. Following their conversation, Nestor graciously agreed to visit El Dorado and share his talents with our students and community.
