Here is some important information for you to know about!
GRADUATION DAY:
Hi Golden Hawks,
Here is some helpful information surrounding Wednesday’s class of 2026 graduation:
Wednesday morning is GRADUATION REHEARSAL- Valencia HS gymnasiums and Bradford Stadium, 8:00-9:45 am. ARRIVE EARLY and please do not be late. We must be done by 9:45 am. Dress casual and comfortable. Do not wear your cap and gown to rehearsal. No food or drink in the stadium (water is okay and encouraged). This is a critical piece to the commencement so please be on time and listen well. Thank you. ***Stay hydrated.
GRADUATION- Ceremony begins promptly at 6:00 pm. Seniors should arrive by 5:15 pm to the Valencia Gym to check in. Only graduates and EDHS staff are allowed in the gym. No high heels allowed on the rubber track or turf field, dress appropriately for the occasion. You should not bring any extra items in with you. No phones, no cameras, no sunglasses, nothing extra. The ceremony should be completed in just over one hour and a half. Tickets are required for entrance.
Gates open at 4:00 pm. Tickets are now required. The stadium is split into sides, home and visitor. Below you’ll see which side your graduate will be sitting on:
Your graduate will be on the Visitors side if they’re in one of these two groups:
- ASB students
- Alpha by last name A through MARTINEZ
Your graduate will be on the Home side if they are in one of these four groups:
- Valedictorian
- Collegiate Scholars
- Choir
- Alpha by last name Matibag through Zatoka
There are three ticket entrances to the stadium.
One for the visitor side and two for the home side.
- Visitor side main entrance nearest the main ticket booth.
- Home side entrance nearest the stadium bathrooms
- Home side nearest Madison Ave. parking lot
Seating for people with disabilities or our elderly guests is available on the track and there is limited space in the bleachers. ***One or two guests may accompany guests; the other family members must sit in the stands.
Guests who will sit on the track cannot wear heels. Thank you.
Lastly, pick a spot to meet your graduate after the ceremony ends. No guests are allowed on the track after. Please no air horns.
