What if Week?

Golden Hawks excel in so many ways. We are built with Hawk Pride, compassion, respect, and we bleed black and gold. With national trends showing increasing incidents of bullying, violence, and careless decision making, we want to reinforce the foundation that El Dorado was built.

Monday: What if we all made safe decisions?
AT&T anti-texting while driving video
Lunch: Students may sign anti-texting while driving pledges. Students may purchase anti-texting while driving Thumb bands for $.50

Tuesday: What if we beat up bullying?
Teen Truth video and discussion

Wednesday: What if everyone cared?
Lunch: complement wall for students and staff to write compliments to others. Wall is to remain on display. A station will be set up near the theatron for students to write complements on strips of paper. Complements will then be linked together in one long chain to be displayed on campus.

Thursday: National renowned inspirational speaker, Tyler Durman, will speak to the student body (double assembly schedule) and to the EDHS staff during a luncheon.

Friday: What if we all had school pride?
All Hawks (students and staff) wear black and gold
Lunch celebration: School wide relay race/scavenger hunt, music, etc.
