About Mr. V
Mr. V has a wide variety and background both in Mathematics as well as Music Performance. Graduating from Diamond Bar High School in 2017, he went on to obtain a degree in Pure Mathematics from Cal Poly Pomona in the Spring of 2021 with a specification in Secondary Teaching, along with continuing his involvement in the marching arts.
While obtaining his degree, he participated in the DCI Summer Tour with some of the top renown marching ensembles in the world such as Pacific Crest (2016-2017), Mandarins (2019), Blue Devils (2020), as well as competed in the WGI World Championships held in Dayton, Ohio with POW Percussion (2018) and Broken City (2019-2022). The long years paid off as Mr. V has gone on to perform as a part of the LA Chargers Thunderbolts Drumline as well as the LA Kings Drumline.
Since graduating in 2017, Mr. V got his start in education as a coach for a handful of performing arts programs throughout the Southern California; from Torrance to Murrieta and everywhere in between. Coaching marching bands and drumline brought Mr. V to first enter the nest back in the Fall of 2019 and has coached the marching band ever since. Seeing as Mr. V is no stranger to the nest, the ability to make an impact both on and off the field felt like the perfect mix!
In his free time, Mr. V enjoys playing video games, hanging out with friends and family, photography, as well as watching TV shows.
