Digital Photography

The Digital Photo course is a year-long elective course which introduces students to DSLR Camera functions, history of photography, and photo editing software. Students will receive UC/ CSU Fine Art credit upon completion of this class.

DMAA COURSES for the PHOTO PATHWAY:
YEAR 1: Digital Design & Illustration
YEAR 2: Digital Photo*
YEAR 3: AP 2D Studio Art (AP Photo)*
YEAR 4: Yearbook, another DMAA course in another pathway (Video, Game Art, Graphic Design)
 
*You MUST receive a grade of “C” or above in these 2 classes in order to receive the DMAA Medallion worn at graduation. Other classes are optional. Senior DMAA students must complete a SENIOR PHOTO PROJECT.
    
NEEDED SUPPLIES:
Students do NOT need to purchase camera equipment.
