FINANCIAL AID TIPS FOR SENIOR FAMILIES

FAFSA opened October 1st! Deadline is March 2nd.
For PROMISE Program (2 years free tuition at community college)
the FAFSA must be filed!
 
1. To apply, create an FSA ID- both student & parent need to complete this process to electronically sign the FAFSA. Click here to start the process.
 
2. It’s important that FAFSA info matches what is on student's birth cert & social security. A change in name or bday will cause delays.
 
3. Gather federal tax documents for 2021.
